F is for… Father’s Day Gift Ideas!

Father's Day
I don’t know about you, but I never know what to get my husband for Father’s Day. He doesn’t fish or golf, and I worry that tools or grill instruments just scream “Here’s one more thing to do around the house.” So I like to get a little creative when I can. If you’re also looking for some new ideas, check out these fun Father’s Day gift ideas below.

Want to tell Dad he’s your superhero? CROSS fine writing instruments has teamed up with Marvel to launch a series of Super Pens featuring prominent icons in the Marvel universe: Iron Man, Captain America, and Spider Man. The pens are available in two styles. The Century II series includes a collectible, character-specific romance card (MSRP $150). And the second is the Tech2 series, which transforms from a ballpoint pen to a stylus (MSRP $45). These pens are perfect for dads who are superhero fanatics (we’re Iron Man fans around here)! Check out the #writegift for Dads at Thanks to CROSS Pens for partnering with me for this post!

Speaking of movies, my husband is a film buff. One recent Father’s Day, I combined his love of movies with what every father needs… a little time to himself! For a relaxing day for the dad in your life, consider buying him tickets to a film (or two), and then send him out for a day at the movie theater. (If you get a gift card, you can also spring for popcorn!)

Finally, for years I surprised my husband with Father’s Day photo books, showcasing special moments of him with our children. There are plenty of websites, such as Shutterfly, Picaboo, and Snapfish, where you can create photo gifts — from photo books to mousepads to coffee mugs — at reasonable prices. If you currently use a site for organizing and sharing your photos, check out what options they offer for Father’s Day gifts.

Father's Day Gift Guide

No matter what you get Dad for Father’s Day, the important thing is to make him feel special, and to let him know that you see and appreciate the things he does for your family. And a little extra sleep doesn’t hurt either! Happy Father’s Day!

  1. Great suggestions! My husband loves Cross pens.

  2. I have a really difficult time with my husband too; a few years ago we stopped buying him gifts altogether and we try to do something fun together on Father’s day instead like taking him to an aerial obstacle course or checking out a new military museum… plus we make sure to make him a variety of his favorite foods.

  3. Your suggestions are really nice , i think every husband want that his wife give her this kind of gift on father’s day so they feel that they are the best dad in the world.

  4. Father’s Day can be a difficult holiday to shop for. I’m blessed to have a father who appreciates every little thing you give him. He is always thankful for everything he gets. I tend to ask him to give me a list of things he need and go from there.
